Shanzu Beach is located on the Indian ocean and it is in the 7th place out of 32 beaches in the Kenya region 441.5 km away from its center, the city of Nairobi. It is one of the beaches of Jumba la Mtwana settlement, just 2.9 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

I am absolutely fond of the serene beach located in the Serena area of Shanzu. What I love about this beach is that it is not overly crowded, and the stretch is long enough to take a good walk. Unlike the beaches in Pirates, there are no hawkers constantly pestering you to buy their wares. Whenever I visit this beach, I just want to unwind, read a book, and take a leisurely stroll. Besides, there are plenty of activities to engage in, such as boat rides and jet skiing, although I haven't tried them yet, so I am not sure about the cost. Furthermore, there are a few hotels around the beach where you can grab a drink or a meal after your walk, swim, or run. The beach is also spotlessly clean, and the sunsets are breathtakingly beautiful. Overall, this beach is an ideal spot to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the surroundings.
