The beach by the river is quite crowded, but it does have a restaurant. However, there are no beach services provided.
We visited three different beaches during our trip. The first one was located at the Borde bar, featuring a grassy shoreline and a concrete pathway leading to the water, similar to Balaton. Next, we went to the public beach in Dong, which wasn't too bad, but this beach was the absolute best. It had a small bar with reasonable prices. The beach had both rocky and sandy areas, making it perfect for kids. Additionally, the parking facility was conveniently located right next to the beach. We were treated to stunning views of Gravedona and the surrounding mountains. Needless to say, we frequently returned to this beach.
A fantastic way to beat the heat is by taking a dip in the refreshing water. There's also a fantastic bar conveniently located nearby.
I don't get why people enjoy this place. The beach is filled with countless stones and hardly any shade. Additionally, there is a lot of litter. Many individuals simply lie under the scorching sun on the uncomfortable rocky surface. It doesn't seem like a vacation spot to me... 😳😖
This beach is a great spot to relax and go for a swim. It has a designated area for kids and is also suitable for individuals who are not strong swimmers. There are two options for lounging, either on the grassy area with plenty of shade or on the sandy beach without shade. Both options are enjoyable. Additionally, there are convenient facilities such as toilets and showers. Despite the temperature reaching 38°C, the beach was not overly crowded, and there was ample space available. Parking is free of charge. However, on weekends, it tends to get crowded and becomes somewhat dirty. Moreover, it can get quite noisy due to a DJ playing music at a loud volume.
