Lido Apulia is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 59th place out of 77 beaches in the Bari region 18.7 km away from its center, the city of Bari. It is one of the beaches of Giovinazzo settlement, just 1.3 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a spacious several bays coastline with crystal blue water and concrete cover, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The entrance to the water is quite sharp. Our experience at the beach was nothing short of a nightmare. The restaurant owner, Nicola, put on a show during the wedding menu tasting to secure our deposit, but on the big day, everything went downhill. The service was abysmal, with numerous problems plaguing our special day. One of the biggest issues was the unlimited bar we paid for, which ran out of all drinks hours before the wedding ended. This was completely unacceptable and left us feeling disappointed and let down. The food we received on the day was also a far cry from what we had tasted during the menu selection. The portions were incredibly small and poorly presented, and the serving staff were incredibly rude, even arguing across the table during the groom's speech. To top it off, despite giving them advance warning of dietary requirements, they completely messed up, serving vegans cheese and vegetarians the same course twice. The food service was also painfully slow and often cold, leaving us feeling frustrated and hungry. When we raised these issues with Nicola, he refused to take any responsibility for the terrible service we received. We urge you to choose an alternative caterer and avoid the disappointment we faced.

The beach is impeccably maintained, with every detail attended to and a welcoming and professional dining room staff. The cuisine is steeped in tradition, featuring fresh seafood dishes that are expertly prepared and presented. The wine selection is expansive and the prices are more than reasonable. Overall, this beach is a must-visit destination for anyone in Giovinazzo. Highly recommended!
