Spiaggia dell'Acquadolce is located on the Ionian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 40th place out of 46 beaches in the Taranto region 30.3 km away from its center, the city of Taranto. It is one of the beaches of Torre Ovo settlement, just 1.2 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal blue water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth.
