Fontespina is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 6th place out of 8 beaches in the Macerata region 21.6 km away from its center, the city of Macerata. It is one of the beaches of Castelletta I settlement, just 1.1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a long lasting coastline with turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Despite the fact that a significant part of the beach is occupied by resorts, there is still a fairly large area with free access. The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. This area has also a water park in the sea with various inflatable toys which constitute excellent activities for parents and children. I must say, this beach exceeded all expectations in every aspect. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the prices for umbrellas, sunbeds, and food were very reasonable. Additionally, they welcomed pets and even allowed us to bring our friends along who couldn't leave their dog at home 🐕. Taking a chance on this chalet, which we had never visited before, turned out to be a fantastic decision. We highly recommend this place and will likely visit again in the future.

We had an amazing experience at the beach. The reception, both over the phone and in person, was excellent. The kitchen had flexible opening hours to accommodate customer requests. The menu was reduced, which showed their focus on offering high-quality and fresh options. The service was friendly and efficient. What stood out the most was that we chose this place because it is dog friendly. They have a designated area for dogs and their owners, which is located further away from the regular umbrellas and provides more space.

I have been familiar with this place for many years. I recall it simply being a beach. However, in recent years, they have added a cozy dining area. It is a stunning location with a picturesque view of the sea. The fish is consistently fresh and delicious. The staff is consistently courteous and ready to assist with any inquiries. The prices are reasonable. I would happily come back again.
