The beach is absolutely lovely, with a charmingly pristine atmosphere and a trabocchi situated on either side.
The beach was strewn with rocks, making it a challenging destination to access. Unfortunately, it was also quite crowded and littered with garbage, dirt, and remnants of toilet use. Disturbingly, foam was visible on the water at one point. Overall, this beach is not recommended for visitors seeking a pristine and peaceful seaside experience.
The pebble beach is conveniently within walking distance from state road 16 towards Pescara. After passing the signs on the right that lead to a residential area and private access, park your car on the right in a small open space and take the unpaved road down. If you have a 4x4 or a vehicle with good traction, you can drive down a short section. The view is absolutely breathtaking, the water is crystal clear, and there's a nice stretch of walking area. You're guaranteed to feel relaxed!
The Trabocchi coast is truly enchanting! The beach, adorned with light pebbles, offers a refreshing change from the usual sand. On calm days, the water is crystal clear and inviting.
The beach is surrounded by nature and boasts crystal clear water. It's also very clean and not crowded, even in the peak of August. It's best to arrive early though, as parking can be limited along the gravel and uneven road leading to the beach. If you miss out on parking there, you'll have to park along the state road and walk an extra 200 meters. This beach is perfect for those who enjoy more secluded and natural settings. Highly recommended.
