The beach is vast and expansive, providing ample space for visitors to enjoy the sun and sea. The prices of amenities and activities are affordable, making it an accessible destination for all. The surrounding area offers scenic walking trails, perfect for a leisurely stroll. Additionally, the beach is conveniently located near the historic center, allowing for easy access to cultural and historical landmarks.
The beaches of Barletta are a complete disappointment. The ocean here is contaminated with the city's sewage, making it an unpleasant and unsanitary place to visit. I regret choosing this location for my vacation, as it is simply disgusting. The city's waste flows directly into the Adriatic Sea without any proper cleaning, resulting in the proliferation of jellyfish that feed on this sewage. These jellyfish are hazardous and can cause severe pain, shock, and even cardiac arrest if they sting you. They are so abundant that they seem to be as numerous as ants in an anthill. Barletta has committed a grave offense by polluting the sea in such a manner.
The beaches in Barletta are unfortunately plagued by a serious cleanliness issue. The city's sewage system flows directly into the sea through rivers, causing an unpleasant odor and an overall unpleasant experience. The water is so dirty that it is home to poisonous jellyfish that feed on the sewage and pose a serious threat to swimmers of all ages. It is simply not safe to swim in these waters, and a visit to Barletta may end up being a waste of time, money, and potentially even your health.
The ocean leaves much to be desired and the beaches are in need of better upkeep.
