Punta Pellaro beach is located on the Ionian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 26th place out of 57 beaches in the Calabria region 9.3 km away from its center, the city of Reggio Calabria. It is one of the beaches of Pellaro settlement, just 1.5 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place.

It is a spacious coastline with blue water and gray sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Punta Pellaro beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, changing rooms, showers, toilets. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

Although this beach deserves a higher rating, it's unfortunate that some individuals have no regard for the environment and litter the parking area with various waste. It would be beneficial to have surveillance cameras installed to catch and fine these irresponsible individuals. Despite this issue, the beach is a stunning location even during the winter months where one can enjoy leisurely strolls while immersed in the vastness of the beach and its awe-inspiring views. On clear days, the sight of Mount Etna and Sicily is truly breathtaking.
