Amantea beach II is located on the Tyrrhenian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 19th place out of 81 beaches in the Cosenza region 25.2 km away from its center, the city of Cosenza. It is one of the beaches of Amantea settlement, just 0.6 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains.

It is a long lasting coastline with blue water and gray fine pebble, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

The proprietor of this Italian beach establishment seemed quite irate during our visit, leaving us with the impression that our patronage was unwelcome. Despite this, the quality of the cuisine and service provided by the staff was exceptional. It is worth noting that the venue is open all day for light refreshments.

Indulged in some oceanic delicacies while soaking up the sun on the sandy shore. The seafood was so fresh, it might as well have been swimming in the sea just moments before. A true feast for the senses, with the salty sea breeze and the sound of waves crashing in the background. Who needs a fancy restaurant when you can dine with a view like this?

The culinary offerings were rather unremarkable, however, the location by the ocean was delightful, despite certain sections of the beach being unkempt and neglected. The proprietor was amiable, although the exorbitant prices and favorable reviews had led me to anticipate a more exceptional dining experience. The entree that I ordered was drenched in a thin tomato sauce, and my spouse's risotto was not up to par. The fish dish was merely adequate. I would suggest this establishment as a suitable spot for a cup of coffee or a scoop of ice cream, but not as an optimal choice for a substantial meal. Mediocre at best.
