Spiaggia di Scalea II is located on the Tyrrhenian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 46th place out of 81 beaches in the Cosenza region 65.3 km away from its center, the city of Cosenza. It is one of the beaches of Marcellina settlement, just 3 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains.

It is a long lasting coastline with blue water and gray sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. The Lido offers a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, with Vincenzo, the manager, always ready to attend to any request. The price of admission includes parking and the use of an umbrella and two comfortable deck chairs. However, like many other beaches in the area, the road leading to the Lido can be a bit rough and dusty, making it challenging for cyclists. The only downside is the fee for the cold shower, which is not the case for neighboring beaches.

Amazing! The gentleman who oversees the beach is extremely pleasant. The restroom facilities are immaculate and stocked with soap. The shoreline itself is pristine and free of any debris. Our overnight stay on the beach was an unforgettable experience.
