Beartra Beach is located on the North Atlantic Ocean (part of Atlantic ocean) and it is in the 25th place out of 43 beaches in the Connacht region The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and gray sand & pebble cover, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Beartra Beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, toilets. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

Please note, that this shore has a significant low tide.

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.

This beach is easily accessible, it is located very close to road. Parking is located directly on the beach.

What an incredible setting for a beach. It was cold and windy but we still spent an hour here savouring the views and taking a picnic. Worth the trip if visiting Westport.

This place is just WOW. If you are in Westport and around Croak Patrick mountain its a must visit beach. The beach is very good for a walk and has very colorful pebbles as well. You can spend a quality time here with friends, family and pets.

Lovely little beach - a tiny peninsula jutting out in the shadow of Croagh Patrick. Toilets are open & functioning & there's a wonderful coffee truck serving hot drinks, though no food. The beach is fully accessible on one side - the other side is entirely pebbles - but in low tide there's a generous expanse of sand.
