Parker Beach is located on the Bass Strait and it is in the 6th place out of 11 beaches in the Colac Otway Shire region The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season. There is a campsite located nearby.

Parker Beach coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature, toilets. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.

Getting to the beach is quite simple: just take a short walk along the trail. Parking is located at some distance, within 300 meters.

Parker Beach (Colac Otway Shire) is located outside the Marengo settlement, which may cause some difficulties for travelers who stay far from the coast. However, the remoteness from the village is not always a bad thing. Lovers of quiet rest know, the farther the beach, the fewer crowds.

The beach stretches on the sunny coast and the easiest way to get to the beach is by car or bike. Beautiful hidden beach and amazing sandstone rock formations. You park at the campground - and then head down a pretty long set of stone steps to the beach and river inlet. Here you'll find a secluded beach, and amazing sandstone rock cliffs. When we went we could also see an old ship wreck and what looked like a whale bone jaw/ rib (perhaps even a fossil - as it was black). Pretty cool spot. Well worth the effort to get down to - and back up again :)

You can access this beach via the parker hill camping area. You'll need to descend 250m down a steep set of formed stairs. Then ascend back up again. Watch out for the bull ants! Very interesting rock formations and strong currents. Nice secluded beach area.

Did a day trip hear with the family was a beautiful spot has good flowing river which meets the sea . The river is feed by a small water fall up stream which you cannot see without going off track .
