10 Exceptional

Blue Holes is Kalbarri's best snorkeling spot, featuring a natural pool shielded from strong waves by a large reef. The crystal-clear water and white sandy beach are absolutely stunning. Although parking spaces are limited, the presence of restrooms makes it quite convenient. When I return to Kalbarri, I'll definitely go snorkeling here again.

Well maintained toilets Close walk from parking to the water Don't forget your snorkel kit And enjoy

Beautiful little beach with rough sand but crystal clear sparkling water on a calm day, check the tides before you come. There's a really shallow area of tide break (the "blue holes") that's perfect for a little bit of snorkeling, we saw mostly children. Toilets available, they were really clean! Metal flushing toilets with a sink and soap, and a small bench in the wheelchair accessible toilet that's great for getting changed.

The blue holes are a drive away from Kalbarri, just keep an eye out for the road signs. There were a few parking spots available but it wasn't very large. It also does connect to Chinamans beach if you were wanting to walk there. The waves along the sea were huge but the water coming into the blue holes was quite gentle. It was quite a long and nice beach to swim in. The blue holes probably refer to the rocky area near the beach which is a bit sore to walk on. There were a few people snorkelling in the area too. We did go quite late in the day so it was a bit cold and not many people were in the water. It is probably a safe area for kids since the waves weren't very big and the water fairly calm.

What a beautiful, peaceful place for you and the kids to snorkel around looking at all the varieties of fish living here. I must have counted at least 10 different species of fish of all shapes and sizes. Only a few minutes drive from Kalbarri and has reasonable parking and toilet facilities too.
