80 Mile Beach captivates with absolutely stunning views, a breathtaking stretch of coastline that leaves a lasting impression. The vast beauty of the landscape is awe-inspiring. However, it's essential to note that despite its allure, swimming is not advised. The beach's magnificence lies in its panoramic vistas rather than its suitability for a dip. Perfect for those seeking a serene and picturesque coastal experience, just be prepared to enjoy the views from the shore.

My favourite place in the state. Great staff very helpful. Great sites . As with most parks everyone is friendly. This park suits all ages. Fishing on the beach which has four wheel drive access. Fantastic sunsets. The park has a well stocked small store. Bakes fresh bread everyday and offers meals on certain nights. T.V. reception great WIFI a bit hit and miss. Highly recommend.

The 80 mile beach main entrance is right next to the 80 mile beach caravan park- for a powered site @ around $44 a night - this is 9km off the NW Coastal highway. Driving on the beach in a 4WD with tyre pressure @22psi is easy enough. Fishing for the elusive Threadfin is an investment in time and patience that pays off when you taste them. Otherwise you will catch a shark or a Mulloway. The fishing is best done at high tide (which can be up to 7m) as low tide is 1000’s metres out from shoreline to reach the water. Walking on the broken ground is best done with reef walkers and swimming in the milky turbid waters of high tide is risky and not advisable. You can drive along the beach in 4WD for about 20km North and about 7km South before obstacles become evident. High tide is no barrier to driving- but some soft patches mean you need to have recovery options with you (another car or maxtrax or let your tyres down a bit more) There is a fresh water wash down at the beach as well. The Caravan shop has cold drinks and ice cream and some groceries. The sunset on a cloudless sky has an effervescent effect and can be mesmerisingly calming- time to sit back and relax and appreciate one of the worlds longest beaches in one of the most isolated parts of the world. You may even see a bird that migrates here from Russia every year……….or a Turtle (at times of the year).

Great caravan park, friendly staff. We loved our nine nights here. Lovely beach to walk and drive on. We collected some stunning shells and coral. We tried fishing - think they liked every one else’s bait 😆
