Coolum Beach is located on the Coral Sea and it is in the 6th place out of 18 beaches in the Sunshine Coast Regional region The beach is located in an urban area, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season. There is a campsite located nearby.

Coolum Beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities. There are also some surf spots.

Coolum Beach is heaven on earth. Framed on the south end by a beautiful coloured-rock headland (Point Perry) and to the north it looks all the way up to Noosa National Park. Two patrolled areas to safely swim (one in front of surf club, one in front of caravan park), and a popular spot for surfers (and us body surfers!). Lots of options for coffee or meals across the road in the village. From access point 72 north, it's off leash for dogs too, up past Stumers Creek. Good central holiday location for north Sunshine Coast, as it's 20 mins to Noosa and 20 mins to Maroochydore (e.g. Plaza, movies).
