The beach is small but lovely, and true to its name, it's a safe spot for swimming. I enjoyed my time there, and appreciated the availability of restrooms, showers, playgrounds, and a water station. The BBQ areas were also clean and well-maintained.

This beach is my favorite. The waves are calming, the water is warm, and there are lifeguards on duty. It's safe for my 12-year-old and I've seen surfers and paddle boarders enjoying the water too. There are a variety of eateries and shops nearby, as well as a medical center, vet, and holiday rentals. It's a beautiful, self-sufficient village along the best beach in the mid-north coast. Perfect for a relaxing holiday or weekend getaway.

A shipwreck recently appeared on the beach, drawing visitors from the surrounding area to come and explore. This morning, we paid our respects to Buster, the name of the ship. It has now become a popular tourist attraction at Woolgoolga beach.
