This place is absolutely breathtaking. It's quite fascinating because there's an island that becomes accessible during low tide, allowing you to walk over to it. It's truly incredible!
The beach is peaceful with a laid-back ambiance. It is only monitored during school holidays and summer. There are restrooms nearby, as well as a small shaded park for young children.
This beach is truly a slice of paradise! If you're looking for a tranquil and serene getaway, I highly recommend staying at the beachfront caravan park. You'll also find a coffee shop conveniently located next to the park, and there's another cafe a bit further away. Plus, it's a breeze to walk to the lighthouse, where you'll be treated to breathtaking views.
The beach offers a delightful experience with stunning vistas. There is ample parking space available. The stroll along the narrow strip of land between two shores was truly picturesque.
The beach is absolutely stunning and incredibly clean! We didn't see any seaweed, shell debris, or bluebottles. We decided to take the long walk around to Fingal Spit, crossing the sand bank to Shark Island, and it was truly picturesque. We visited on a Friday and it wasn't too crowded, luckily we found street parking near the Fingal Surf Life Saving building, just a few minutes' walk to the beach entrance. The kiosk was open until "Going with the flow" but unfortunately, when I stopped by around 3.30pm, it had already closed. There weren't any other options like a vending machine available. The public bathrooms were quite unpleasant and had a strong odor, so I quickly walked in and out without using them. The beach is patrolled from 8am to 6pm and is very family-friendly. Overall, it's an incredible beach, although the amenities could use some improvement.
