Sharky Beach is located on the Tasman Sea and it is in the 22th place out of 28 beaches in the Wollongong City region The beach is located in an urban area, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, pet owners etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Sharky Beach coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature, changing rooms, showers, toilets. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.

A lovely beach for site seeing and sunbathing but there are dangers for swimmers. So really for strong swimmers only

Dog friendly beach with parking and plenty of green space for picnics. Not much shelter from the sun so be sure to bring something with you if planning on spending the day. A little quieter than Austinmer Beach down the road. The beach is not patrolled and the currents are really strong so exercise caution if going for a swim 🏊‍♀️

Plenty of parking spaces. Looked like a surfers paradise. Be aware there is no coast guard monitoring at this beach. Had a very clean restroom.
