The beach is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking untouched nature surrounding it. There is a campground available for those who want to stay overnight. The road to get there is a gravel road, which is quite steep and not recommended for caravans. However, it's not too difficult to navigate (although I haven't tried it after heavy rain). It's located about 15 minutes away from the Tathra Bermagui road, making it a worthwhile destination for a short 15-minute visit or a full day trip.

I visited this beach in October 2020 and it instantly captured my heart. During my time here, I had the most incredible experience of witnessing a humpback whale breaching for a continuous 30 minutes. It was truly unforgettable. I highly recommend visiting this area in October as it is when the whales migrate back north from Antarctica with their calves. The proximity of the coastline makes it easy to spot these magnificent creatures, especially the playful calves.
