Gili Trawangan Beach II is located on the Bali Sea (part of Indian ocean) and it is in the 33th place out of 151 beaches in the West Nusa Tenggara region 27.3 km away from its center, the city of Mataram. It is one of the beaches of Pandanan settlement, just 8.4 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

A significant part of the beach has a restricted access. The beach facilities are only available to hotel guests. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, toilets. This beach is perfect for capturing Instagram-worthy photos. With a swing, horseback riding in the sea, and cocktail bars, it's a great spot for taking stunning sunset pictures.

This beach is a fantastic spot for a vacation, with opportunities for snorkeling, sunbathing, swimming, and enjoying the nightlife with live music, drinks, and even magic mushrooms. It's not as wild as Ibiza, but the vibes are similar. It's a great destination for couples, groups, and families. The beach is beautiful and clean, and you can see plenty of fish underwater. Just be aware that lobster is quite pricey here, and souvenirs aren't exactly cheap either.

Keep an eye out for the cleaner beach on the opposite side of the island, as the main beach near the ferry can get quite crowded with people and horse carts. The quieter beach is perfect for watching the sunset or getting a tan. I wouldn't suggest swimming unless you are a strong swimmer, as the tides can be rough.
