ECR Beach is located on the Bay of Bengal (part of Indian ocean) and it is in the 143th place out of 184 beaches in the Tamil Nadu region 35.9 km away from its center, the city of Chennai. It is one of the beaches of Vadanemali settlement, just 1.8 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

ECR Beach coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.

This beach is easily accessible, it is located very close to road. Parking is located at some distance, within 300 meters.

This beach in Chennai is one of the cleanest and most beautiful spots to visit. You can easily reach it by taking a share auto from Sholinganallur. Even in March, the beach remains cool and is best enjoyed in the evening. Many people come here to swim, and there are no restrictions from the police on bathing in the water.

This beach is a great spot to hang out with friends. Just a heads up, there isn't a liquor store nearby. However, you can find drinks like coolers, lemon juice, and coconut water along the road. Be sure to drive carefully in the accident-prone area. Also, remember to bring a lighter or matchbox as there are no convenience stores around. Make sure to check your petrol and tire condition since there are no bike shops nearby. Have a safe journey!
