Highly recommended .. An essential destination for a family outing. Delightful atmosphere with a spacious beach. Gentle waves and shallow water make it perfect for all ages. It's incredibly picturesque ❤️. Located close to Chidambaram and Pichavaram mangrove forests. Ideal for capturing stunning photographs. Small eateries and juice stalls are available. Limited shopping options. Boats and fishing equipment can be seen along the shore, as many fishing families reside here. This beach is both safer and more pristine than Poompuhar beach, which is in the vicinity. The lighthouse of Poompuhar is visible from this beach. For those looking to rinse off salt and sand after a swim, there are convenient hand pumps with fresh water nearby.

This destination is ideal for both families and friends, offering a variety of shops selling snacks and refreshments. The ocean is a major draw for visitors, with gentle waves perfect for swimming near the shore. It's important to heed the warnings not to venture too far out, as there are lifeguards on duty for your safety. Remember, one misstep can put everyone at risk, so be sure to look out for yourself and your loved ones.

Absolutely stunning beach. Fantastic location. Plenty of parking available. Ideal for families and children to have a great time. You can dip your toes in the water, but swimming is not permitted due to dangerous depths. Mornings and weekdays are the best times to visit as it is less crowded. There is a small park and various games to enjoy. Additionally, there are snack shops for your convenience.
