Kara Beach is located on the Laccadive Sea and it is in the 32th place out of 41 beaches in the Kerala region 208 km away from its center, the city of Thiruvananthapuram. It is one of the beaches of Eriyad settlement, just 1.8 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a small bay with turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Kara beach is the best beach. You get enough peace and queit there.Like any other beaches there is no crowd in Kara beach. So I suggest that everyone who is reading this should visit Kara beach at least once
