Half Moon Beach is located on the Arabian Sea (part of Indian ocean) and it is in the 14th place out of 79 beaches in the Karnataka region 391.5 km away from its center, the city of Bengaluru. It is one of the beaches of Belekan settlement, just 1.5 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a straight coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

The beach in Gokarna is a hidden gem, boasting a pristine and secluded atmosphere. As you trek along the beach, you'll come across a spot to grab a quick snack. The lack of crowds only adds to the tranquility of the experience. During our beach trek, we stopped here to catch our breath and were able to fully appreciate the calm and peaceful surroundings, far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

During my stay in Gokarna, I had the pleasure of visiting one of the most stunning beaches I have ever seen. The shore and water were immaculately clean, making for a truly picturesque scene. This particular beach is a hidden gem, requiring a 10-15 minute hike to reach and is not frequented by tourists. During my visit, my friends and I were the only ones on the beach, which made for a peaceful and serene experience. There is a quaint café on the beach that serves basic snacks and drinks, providing the perfect spot to relax and take in the breathtaking views. However, it's worth noting that this beach is not easily accessible without a two-wheeler. Overall, I highly recommend this beach to anyone looking for a secluded and beautiful spot to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of Gokarna.
