Karwar Beach is located on the Arabian Sea (part of Indian ocean) and it is in the 56th place out of 79 beaches in the Karnataka region 427 km away from its center, the city of Bengaluru. It is one of the beaches of Karwar settlement, just 2.2 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains.

It is a long lasting coastline with turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Karwar Beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, sun umbrellas, beach restaurant, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

Rabindranath Tagore Beach, located near the Kali River, provides an awe-inspiring sight of the Arabian Sea. With its crystal-clear blue waters and the lush green trees and hills that encircle it, the view is truly breathtaking. Additionally, there are a variety of activities to partake in, including swimming, sunbathing, and beach sports.
