Grandmother's Hole Beach is located on the Arabian Sea (part of Indian ocean) and it is in the 6th place out of 71 beaches in the Goa region 23.5 km away from its center, the city of Margao. It is one of the beaches of Vasco da Gama settlement, just 2.9 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a spacious coastline with turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Grandmother's Hole Beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.

This beach is easily accessible, it is located very close to road. Parking is located directly on the beach.

The beach appears visually appealing, but there are no food options for purchase. It is situated within government quarters, and the majority of the beachgoers are families of government employees who are jogging. There is no lifeguard present, which could be a concern. This beach is isolated and may be more suitable for photography purposes.

This hidden gem is a haven of safety, with a constant presence of law enforcement and coast guard personnel strolling through the tranquil Japanese garden. The beach is pleasant and not too crowded, and it's only a short ten-minute walk from the garden. However, it's mostly rocky, so it's not ideal for swimming. Regrettably, the factory's wastewater is also discharged here. There's a temple in the vicinity, and you'll be treated to stunning sunset views. Additionally, there are some dining options nearby.
