Our India tour 22 commenced from Punjab and we have now arrived in the beautiful state of Goa. During our stay, we had the pleasure of camping for two nights with a group of free-spirited individuals from various countries. The beach was incredibly tranquil, providing a serene ambiance for us to unwind and connect with nature. It's worth noting that some individuals choose to embrace a clothing-optional lifestyle here, so it may not be suitable for families with young children. The beach exudes a serene and tranquil atmosphere, perfect for those seeking a peaceful escape. However, it is important to note that the area may be littered with discarded bottles and plastic waste. It is advisable to come prepared and take necessary precautions to ensure a pleasant and enjoyable experience.
The beach is situated in a beautiful location, offering a picturesque view of the surroundings. However, it is important to note that the lake does not contain fresh water, despite its name suggesting otherwise.
If you're looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Arambol beach, this lovely stretch of sand is a fantastic alternative. It's significantly less crowded and boasts a cleaner, more tranquil atmosphere. While it's only a short 10-15 minute walk from Arambol beach, it's important to be aware of high tide conditions, as accessing the beach may prove challenging during these times.
Kalacha beach, located adjacent to Aarambol beach, is a stunning destination that boasts a spectacular view of the sea on one side and a serene freshwater lake on the other. For those traveling by bike, Google Maps can provide directions to the last point of Aarambol beach, where you can park your vehicle. Alternatively, if you are driving, park your car in the main parking area of Aarambol beach and walk to the end of the beach. Once you reach the rocks at the end, you will find stairs that lead up towards the shacks. Follow the path adorned with shops until you reach the beach and lake. The beauty of Kalacha beach is undeniable, with shacks lining both the lake and beach sides. However, it can get quite crowded, especially on Saturdays. To fully appreciate the tranquility and peacefulness of the area, it is recommended to visit during off-hours. Additionally, it is important to keep the beach clean by not littering. Overall, Kalacha beach is a breathtaking location that offers a unique experience, and is definitely worth a visit.
