The beach is great for snorkeling, they play good music, and it costs 10 euros for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella. The entrance is a bit peculiar and parking is 7 euros per day, but you can also park on the street. There are some laid-back but well-behaved cats here. I will definitely return to this place!
This beach is absolutely beautiful with its clear and stunning water. It's conveniently located near numerous shops, making it easily accessible by foot. If you're in need of a sunbed, you can rent one for just €10. However, it's important to note that there are no restroom facilities available at the beach. Additionally, the beach is somewhat downhill, so it may not be the best choice for individuals with limited mobility. Occasionally, there might be a slight sewage odor in the area.
Kalamia Beach is like a true paradise with its breathtakingly beautiful and crystal-clear sea. It's so clear that you might not even need a snorkel mask to enjoy it. The beach is easily accessible by foot through a dirt trail, making it convenient even if you have children with you. You can park your car for free on the street, and if parking spaces are limited, there's a paid parking option nearby for 7 euros. At the beach, you can rent umbrellas for 10 euros each, and there's a well-equipped bar where you can quench your thirst and enjoy delicious food. On the left side of the beach, there are fascinating caves that are perfect for capturing stunning photographs. Snorkeling enthusiasts will love Kalamia Beach as the underwater world is mesmerizing with an abundance of fish. Unlike some other beaches in Cefalonia, Kalamia Beach doesn't offer jet ski rentals, which helps maintain its tranquil atmosphere. This makes it a great choice for water games and paddleball. The only small downside is that there are pebbles along the shoreline, but once you go a bit deeper into the water, the sea bottom becomes sandy and comfortable.
The beach was beautiful and had a bar and sunbeds available. It was consistently windy all day. The service was excellent, with enjoyable music and a convenient shower. The price to rent sunbeds was 10 euros for two, which was the best deal we could find in the area. The water was sandy, but there were pebbles on the shore. The only downside was the absence of restroom facilities.
It would have been great if the beach was open. Most beaches are closed at the moment while they wait for them to open. As a result, the beach bar is also closed, and I noticed that someone has closed the entrance to the beach as well.
