Fort James beach is located on the Caribbean Sea (part of South Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 5th place out of 5 beaches in the Antigua and Barbuda region 2.5 km away from its center, the city of St. John's. It is one of the beaches of Five Island Village settlement, just 2.9 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal.
