Plage de Rohotu is located on the Pacific ocean and it is in the 17th place out of 19 beaches in the Windward Islands region 18.8 km away from its center, the city of Papeete. It is one of the beaches of Paea settlement, just 1.9 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious coastline with turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Plage de Rohotu coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature, toilets. .

Paea Beach offers parking, restrooms, showers, and a limited number of tables. The water is decent, but you may need to walk a bit to find a spot with better footing. Overall, it's a great spot for swimming, unless you have young children with you.
