Lava beach is located on the Mediterranean Sea and it is in the 23th place out of 255 beaches in the South Corsica region 9.1 km away from its center, the city of Ajaccio. It is one of the beaches of Scaglioli settlement, just 2.7 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains.

It is a spacious several bays coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is quite sharp. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, pet owners etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Beautiful beach which looks toward the west for great sunset views. Crystal clear water. Free parking, nice beach restaurant and many water toy rentals right on beach.
