Plage de Fautea is located on the Tyrrhenian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 135th place out of 255 beaches in the South Corsica region 60.2 km away from its center, the city of Ajaccio. It is one of the beaches of Fautea settlement, just 0.4 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains.

It is a small several bays coastline with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Plage de Fautea coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

The beach is absolutely stunning, with convenient parking nearby and water so clear you can see right through it. Unlike some other beaches, this one is made of soft sand, but be aware that the first few steps into the water are rocky, so it's a good idea to wear shoes. After that, though, the sand is perfect for walking and playing. There's even a bar and restaurant right on the beach, but despite its many amenities, it never seems to get too crowded.

The beach is absolutely stunning, especially in the late afternoon. It's the perfect spot for a refreshing swim after a leisurely stroll to the American Beach. Additionally, the sand is golden and fine, making it an even more enjoyable experience.
