The beach is normal but far from being fantastic. Although the parking is well-managed, it's a rip-off, and the drive to get there is quite tedious. While the beach offers a range of amenities, including shops, ice cream parlors, and cafes, it lacks the charm and appeal that I seek in a beach. In my personal view, there are better beaches in the vicinity that offer a more enjoyable experience. The snorkeling experience here is quite dull and uneventful, leaving me feeling underwhelmed.
The beach was truly stunning. I had the pleasure of visiting with my little ones and it was an ideal experience. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to go back again. The water was crystal clear and provided excellent opportunities for snorkeling.
The cost of parking at Plage du Pellegrin is quite steep, at 11€, which is the same rate as the neighboring beaches. Unfortunately, there are no free parking options nearby. During the month of July, the beach can be quite packed with visitors. However, the most disappointing aspect was the overwhelming smell of dried seaweed that covered the beach, overpowering the sand. The water was also murky and filled with seaweed, making it less than ideal for swimming.
The beach offers a lovely expanse of soft sand that gradually slopes into the inviting waters. The shoreline is adorned with trees that provide ample shade from the scorching sun during hot days. Access to the parking area comes at a fee of 11 euros.
The beach entrance fee is 10€ per car, and the parking lot is surrounded by trees with berries. Be cautious while choosing a spot to park your car. It is advisable to wear foot protection while walking on the beach as there might be broken glass bottles left by previous visitors. The beach has several dozen picnic tables that are in good condition, and trash cans are easily accessible. The beach is easily accessible, but it is covered 70% by algae. Dogs on leash are allowed on the beach. The water quality is excellent as it has been awarded the #pavillonbleu certification.
