Plage de la Galere is located on the Mediterranean Sea and it is in the 190th place out of 197 beaches in the Var region 29.3 km away from its center, the city of Toulon. It is one of the beaches of Port Auguier settlement, just 8.8 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a tiny bay with crystal turquoise water and rocks cover, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

The beach is composed of rocks and pebbles, with a significant amount of seaweed present. Additionally, it is not easily accessible.

The beach is quite unremarkable, more like a small cove that fills up with rainwater and is covered in algae, wood fragments, and pebbles. The water lacks the dreamy colors that one would expect from a beach. In essence, there are better alternatives to spending time at Porquerolles. 😁
