This beach in southern France may not be the most unique, but it's certainly worth a visit if you're in the area or looking for a refreshing break from the hustle and bustle of city life. Along the promenade, there are several quaint cafes and restaurants to choose from, but be warned that finding a seat during lunchtime can be a challenge if you're only looking for drinks. During our visit, we encountered a large crowd and were turned away from a couple of bars when we declined menus. Eventually, we found a seat, but it wasn't as well-shaded as the dining tables. However, we were pleasantly surprised when a nearby restaurant generously offered us a free litre carafe of chilled water - a much-needed respite from the heat.
This beach is a real stunner with its fine sand and crystal clear water that will make your heart skip a beat. The water is shallow enough for your little ones to frolic and play without any worries. However, if you want to avoid the crowds, you might want to take a stroll towards the middle or west of the beach. The cleanliness of this beach is truly remarkable, so you can rest easy knowing that you are lounging in a pristine spot. Whether you want to swim or just relax, this beach is the perfect spot for you.
This beach is fantastic with its soft sandy shores and is perfect for families. There are even lifeguards on duty to ensure everyone's safety. The nearby park is also stunning and adds to the overall beauty of the area. Additionally, there are public restrooms available for convenience. For those looking to explore, there is a sea boat that connects to Toulon old port for a reasonable price. Overall, I would highly recommend this beach and give it a 5-star rating.
Although half of the beach is designated for non-smokers, it seems that nobody pays attention to this rule and there is no enforcement. If you were hoping to enjoy a smoke-free environment, it may be best to find another beach.
This beach is great, with fine sand and it's perfect for families with kids. It's not only child-friendly because of the beach itself but also because of the nearby amusement park called Funnyland, which is ideal for younger children. There are plenty of options for dining and refreshments. However, the price for renting two sunbeds and a parasol is quite high at €20 in July 2021.
