Karyna beach is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 166th place out of 378 beaches in the Split-Dalmatia region 6.6 km away from its center, the city of Split. It is one of the beaches of Slatine settlement, just 2.4 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and light pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, pet owners etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season. Moreover, this beach is popular with naturists.

Ah, the beach. A place where one can bask in the sun, soak in the salty water, and be serenaded by the sound of seagulls. This particular beach is a sight to behold - it's simply stunning. The water is tranquil, and the beach is not overrun by hordes of people. In fact, it's quite peaceful. You won't find yourself jostling for space on the sand or dodging beach balls left and right. It's like having your own personal oasis. So if you're looking for a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, this beach is the perfect spot.

This beach is a fantastic spot with crystal-clear waters that are teeming with fish, making it an ideal location for snorkelling. Despite the gravel track leading to the beach, it remains a peaceful and tranquil spot, as many visitors are deterred by the track. While our VW polo managed the journey with ease, I would hesitate to bring my own car here. The only downside was the presence of litter on the beach, which was a disappointment and detracted from the overall experience.
