Lokva beach is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 185th place out of 215 beaches in the Istria region 49.6 km away from its center, the city of Pazin. It is one of the beaches of Premantura settlement, just 1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and light pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season. Please note that the area nearby is possible for wild camping.

In my opinion, this is the best beach near Premantura. It is a gravel beach that gets plenty of sun throughout the day. There is a rocky area that provides some shade in the afternoon. It is easy to access the water from the rocky part, and the water is relatively warm.
