Playa OPacifico is located on the Pacific ocean and it is in the 37th place out of 233 beaches in the Costa Rica region 97.3 km away from its center, the city of San Jose. It is one of the beaches of Bajo Negro settlement, just 1.4 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area with very picturesque views.

It is a straight coastline with turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Playa OPacifico shoreline is completely occupied by the hotels. The beach facilities are only available to hotel guests. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, sea pool. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities, sup-surfing.

This beach is easily accessible, it is located very close to road. Parking is located directly on the beach.

Our stay here was absolutely amazing. The staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. The property was very clean and beautiful, with sightings of howler monkeys and other wildlife on the premises, as well as sting rays in the beach water. This is a fantastic place to stay, especially if you have kids. We were thrilled to find a vegan menu available, and there was another restaurant nearby with vegan options as well. We will definitely be returning, as our experience here was truly special and made even better by the exceptional staff.

We spent two weeks in Costa Rica and our favorite part was definitely our week at Opacifico beach. The beach and resort are both beautiful. Susanna, Luis, and Ian were fantastic hosts and made us feel special throughout our stay. The excursions, especially the bioluminescence night kayaking tour, were a lot of fun. We highly recommend spending your day relaxing in a hammock on the beach.

We had a great time at this beach! The staff was really friendly, the rooms were clean, and the property was stunning. The hotel was very peaceful and the pool was a nice bonus. I suggest renting a paddle board and exploring the water if you have the chance.
