Calzon de Pobre beach is located on the Pacific ocean and it is in the 89th place out of 233 beaches in the Costa Rica region 190.1 km away from its center, the city of San Jose. It is one of the beaches of Hermosa settlement, just 1.8 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, pet owners etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Calzon de Pobre beach coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

This beach in Costa Rica was truly incredible. It was absolutely stunning, peaceful, and had a great local vibe. It was also perfect for families with children, as the snorkeling was incredibly easy. However, it's really disheartening to see that everything has changed now. The property has been sold and a massive Weston development has completely taken over. There's no longer any access to the beach and construction is happening everywhere. It's just a terrible situation overall.

The beach is absolutely stunning, adorned with lovely trees that provide shade. The sheltered bay is teeming with an abundance of hermit crabs, fish, and sea urchins.

The road leading to this beach is currently under construction due to the development of a new resort on a nearby beach. To access the beach, you would need to park your car at the top of the hill and take a 10-minute hike down. Although the beach is small in size, the water is stunning and not overly crowded. The sand is lovely, and as you descend the hill, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the bay.

The beach is absolutely stunning, with soft sandy shores and crystal-clear water. It's a great spot for swimming, and there are also some nice shaded areas to relax in. On the left, you can take a leisurely stroll to Playa Penca, passing by another charming little beach along the way. Just keep in mind that to reach it, you'll need to walk down a long dirt road, which is mostly shaded. So, if you're carrying a lot of stuff, make sure you're prepared for that!

The beach is absolutely stunning. However, it's not advisable to walk or ride a bike here due to ongoing road construction. Fortunately, any car can easily reach the parking area.
