Jicote beach is located on the Pacific ocean and it is in the 221th place out of 233 beaches in the Costa Rica region 211.6 km away from its center, the city of San Jose. It is one of the beaches of Puerto Castilla settlement, just 2.3 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

Jicote beach coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.

To get to the beach, you need to drive along a dirt road about 2km long. Parking is located directly on the beach.
