What to do in Tortuga beach? Are there any attractions or entertainments in region?

If you like outdoor activities, the Tortuga beach can offer such an experience. In particular - SUP surfing. The beach stands out for an excellent base for this kind of sport. And the bonus is the gorgeous scenery from the water. Just try, we recommend it!

The deeper you dive, the more interesting the surrounding scenery - that's how you can characterize Tortuga beach, but that doesn't mean that landscapes are uninteresting and it's better to spend all your time underwater. The fact is that one of the key activities on the beach is diving. Here you can scuba dive not only as a professional, but also a beginner, as there are several companies along the coast engaged in diving and diver training. Take advantage.

When it comes to what to do in Tortuga beach, it's impossible not to mention an insanely popular activity: snorkeling. The coastal waters of the region are full of interesting views, which can be observed through a snorkeling mask. Well, if you do not have the necessary equipment for snorkeling - everything can be purchased at the nearby shops.

Extremes can be moderate or excessive, so if you are a fan of the first type, than Tortuga beach welcomes you, offering kite and windsurfing. If on the contrary, it is not your kind of activity, we recommend you to find another beach, since the presence of lots of kite surfers on water can have a negative impact on the comfort of your leisure.

There is no particular indicator for the extremity of any particular activity, but if there were, then sea kayaking is definitely at the bottom of the scale. If you are a fan of this kind of entertainment, you can do your favorite activity at Tortuga beach. See what our users think about it in the reviews section.

In most cases, the question What to do on Tortuga beach implies the presence of any excursions or attractions near the beach. Of course in this area there are lots of places to go besides the beach. There are historical, entertainment and even gastronomic tours offered by local guides. More information is better to clarify directly on the spot.

This beach is perfect for those looking to explore the windward side of Grand Cayman. Our spacious and well-equipped two bedroom unit was a great place to stay. The staff is generally friendly and helpful. The constant breeze may be a bit strong, but the beach and diving opportunities are still excellent, unlike the crowded 7 mile beach area.

I had a great time at Morritt's Resort for a week. The beach and swimming in the crystal-clear waters of the Cayman Islands were amazing. The staff was efficient and friendly. My guest and I enjoyed the food and cocktails at the restaurant and bar.

My parents have been visiting this beach for over 24 years, and every time we return, I am amazed by the stunning views! The sandy beach, ocean vistas, multiple pool options, and enjoyable activities cater to all preferences. I want to give a special mention to Denis & Kayla, the activities directors, who ensure each day is filled with fun and excitement. The resort is family-friendly, with a "quiet pool" for those seeking a peaceful atmosphere. While the rooms may be a bit outdated, they are equipped with everything you could possibly need, including a fully furnished kitchen, a spacious dining area, a cozy TV spot, and a deck for relaxing with a cup of coffee. Additionally, there is a convenient grocery store just across the street, offering a variety of food options beyond what the resort provides.

The resort was okay, but they do tend to tack on a lot of extra charges, which can be a bit frustrating. It's quite far from 7 Mile Beach and other attractions like stingray city. The $120 cab fare from the airport to the resort was expensive. If you're okay with driving, renting a car would be a more budget-friendly option. The beach area at Morritt’s had a significant amount of seaweed, making it less ideal for swimming. On the bright side, my room was clean and well-kept. The bar was fantastic and karaoke was a lot of fun. Just be careful not to lose your room key wristbands, as they charge $10 for replacements. Overall, I found the fees for the stay to be excessive. I understand resort fees, but all the additional charges were unexpected. I would recommend staying here if you want a peaceful and friendly vacation with an ocean view and don't plan on visiting many attractions.

The rooms are good, with nice decor. Mimi's dock is great and the views are amazing. It's located on the quieter side of town, but still only a 25-45 minute drive to most attractions. And I can't forget to mention the excellent housekeeping - we always had plenty of fresh towels!
