It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. Chaves Beach in Boavista is simply stunning. I had the pleasure of strolling along the beach multiple times, in both directions from my hotel, and I was never tired of the breathtaking view of the sea. The water was a mesmerizing shade of turquoise and incredibly clear. If you decide to take a swim, just be cautious as there are rocky areas that require careful footing. Once you've enjoyed your swim, I highly recommend grabbing a drink at one of the bars, where you can unwind and observe the world around you.
