Plyazh Byala is located on the Black Sea and it is in the 15th place out of 29 beaches in the Varna region 37.2 km away from its center, the city of Varna. It is one of the beaches of Byala settlement, just 1.1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. I have to say, this beach in Bulgaria was quite disappointing. The sand was barely there and getting into the water was quite uncomfortable due to the rocky entrance. However, I will say that the sand that was there had a lovely golden hue.

Definitely more tranquil than the beaches in Obzor. The beach has a bar where you can purchase food and drinks. You have the option to rent an umbrella near the bar or just bring your own and lay on a towel, which is what most people do. There is a lifeguard present most of the time. The water is quite clear, but there are areas with rocky bottoms where you can even spot little fish swimming. Some visitors have reported seeing jellyfish in the water. In the afternoon, the rocks behind the beach provide ample shade.
