This charming stretch of sand is a true hidden gem, perfect for those seeking a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. If you plan to visit, be sure to arrive before 3pm when the sun is at its peak and the beach is shrouded in shade. And don't let the stairs leading down from Galata quarter deter you - they make for a great workout and offer stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Overall, this beach is a delightful spot to relax and soak up the natural beauty of the area.
It's a grueling journey to reach this beach, requiring a 30-40 minute bus ride from Varna's center and a daunting 500-step descent down a hill. The beach itself is a mixed bag, with mostly sand but also some rocky areas in the water. The sand is rough and there are no umbrellas available to rent, leaving visitors with little protection from the blazing sun unless they bring their own. Even purchasing drinks requires a strenuous uphill trek of 500 steps to the nearby supermarket. While the scenery may be beautiful, this beach is far from a popular tourist destination and lacks the amenities and comforts of more mainstream options.
This charming beach boasts a stunning view, but lacks any amenities such as a lifeguard or other services. It may not be the best choice for families with young children under 5 years old. However, the beach is impeccably clean and absolutely delightful. Despite the 480 stairs required to return to your vehicle, it is well worth the effort.
This so-called "big beautiful beach" is nothing but a mundane stretch of sand with a forest looming nearby. Sure, you can sunbathe all you want and pretend to enjoy the wild birds chirping, but let's be real, it's nothing special. And don't even get me started on the lack of a lifeguard - good luck if you get caught in a rip current. And if you think the 500 stairs on the way down are a fun workout, then I have a bridge to sell you. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.
