This beach is perfect for all types of people and their dogs, as it allows dogs to roam freely. It's also a great spot for stand-up paddleboarding towards the pylons. You can easily gather decent-sized mussels from the posts, and the water is crystal clear with plenty of fish swimming around. Keep in mind that the water might feel a bit cool during this time of year.
This beach has become our family's go-to spot. We make the 30-minute drive at 8:30pm a few times a week in the summer just to catch the sunset. It's not as crowded as Chelsea beach, and it's conveniently close by. The new bathrooms are a great addition, especially for our family with two kids. We highly recommend it.
