The path leading to the beach, located between Short Point and Bar Beach and at the car park at Middle Beach, consists of a dirt track, several wooden ramps, and a challenging set of 185 steps with landings. This beach is not widely known or frequented by tourists, as it is not heavily advertised. There are headlands on both ends of the beach, which can be affected by winds coming from the northeast to southeast directions. However, it should be shielded from winds coming from other directions. It is important to note that swimming is done at your own risk, as there are no lifeguards present and obtaining immediate medical assistance may be inconvenient. Nevertheless, this beach is usually free from large crowds, children, and excessive noise. Just remember to conserve enough energy for the climb back up the stairs. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention, my dog Fred had a great time on this adventure, starting from Short Point NRMA Caravan Park. Just make sure to keep your dog leashed and everything will be fine.
