The beach is really nice with clear water and small waves. However, it tends to get crowded and lacks the depth of beaches like Big Beach/Makena. There are plenty of hotels and water activities happening, so it's not a quiet and secluded spot. The parking area has around 25 spaces.
The beach offers public parking and showers, but the highlight is the expansive shoreline and beachfront area that families can enjoy all day. If you search carefully, you may even spot sea turtles swimming in the vicinity.
This beach is quite popular among the public and tends to get crowded. One of its main attractions is its cove-like shape, which results in relatively calm waters. Additionally, you can venture quite a distance into the water before it becomes deep. Moreover, there is a significant presence of turtles in the water at this location.
The beach has excellent white sand and is shallow enough for wading. The water is calmer in the mornings until around 11. It's a perfect spot for paddle boarding and kayaking. However, after 11, the wind starts to pick up and the waves can get quite high, making it ideal for bodyboarding. Unfortunately, the water becomes cloudy at this time. There are beach chairs and umbrellas available from various hotels, but there is also enough space in the middle for those who bring their own chairs. Although there is no shade, you can simply lay down a towel and enjoy the sun. Additionally, there are rocky areas on both the right and left sides of the beach that are great for snorkeling.
The ocean water was a little chilly, but that's to be expected. The waves were fairly gentle, perfect for my 5-year-old niece. Just be cautious about getting seawater in your eyes. If you stay until evening, you can witness the breathtaking sunset here. It's not an overly crowded beach, but it's still quite popular. I highly recommend it!
