This charming beach boasts a plethora of camping activities and intriguing ruins that exude an air of antiquity. The nearby Porto Palermo Museum is definitely worth exploring while the crystal clear waters offer a perfect opportunity for snorkeling enthusiasts. However, it is important to note that like many places in Albania, litter may be present.
This delightful beach nestled beside an ancient fortress is a must-see destination for those seeking a refreshing swim. It's perfect for families with children, as the water remains shallow for several meters before becoming deeper. However, the unsightly garbage strewn around the parking lot and pathways is a major turn-off, and it's unfortunate that many public spaces in Albania suffer from this issue. Despite this, the beach itself is clean and inviting, with a cozy atmosphere that makes it a great spot to unwind. Keep in mind that there are no rental umbrellas available, so don't forget to bring your own!
This pint-sized patch of sand is a real gem, perfect for those who prefer a more intimate beach experience. Bonus points for the designated camping spot, for those who fancy sleeping under the stars. We took a leisurely stroll to the nearby castle, but be warned - they charge a pretty penny of 300 lek per person for entry. Nevertheless, the stunning views and tranquil atmosphere make it worth every penny.
