The staff at the beach were extremely rude, which completely ruined our experience on the island and negatively impacted our perception of Turkish hospitality. It felt as though the staff believed we had no other options and acted as if they owned the entire sea, beach, and air. As a result, we decided to leave. I would strongly advise avoiding this beach at all costs.
My friends and I have been to many beaches, but this one was the worst. There are so many sharp rocks and the swimming area is too small. Additionally, the cost to access this beach, including an umbrella and a sunbed, is 100tl, which is more expensive compared to other places on the island that charge 70-80tl. Furthermore, it's worth mentioning that this beach is quite far from other attractions on the island.
The place is really nice and I had a very positive experience. The transportation and the chaise lounge+umbrella cost 100TL per person. There is a boat available at the Büyükada pier for transportation. The beach has a bar and restaurant where you can get food and drinks at very reasonable prices. For example, a burger and fries cost 60TL. The staff does a great job of keeping the beach clean and free from seaweed, which is really nice. The people in general are very friendly. One thing I would suggest is to bring rock shoes for swimming because there is no sand. The bottom of the beach is made up of rocks.
The beach is a pleasant place to stay, but the food is terrible. It might be a better idea to have dinner at the restaurant upstairs.
The beach is lovely with clear water. There are plenty of sun beds and umbrellas available. You can easily reach the beach by taking a ferry, which is a 30-minute ride. The cost for the ferry and beach entrance is around 4-5 euros. This price includes a free umbrella and two sun beds. The prices for beer and coffee are 3 euros and 2.5 euros respectively. The ferry departs every hour and the fare is already included. The beach provides public toilets, showers, and all pathways are covered with wooden panels. It's a great place to spend a day away from the noise and crowds of Istanbul.
