The beach is absolutely stunning, but it would greatly benefit from the addition of amenities and parking. It has the potential to become a major attraction.
I have a deep appreciation for all things related to nature. I absolutely love the breathtaking sight of the beach and river as seen from the highest point of the bridge.
Salibay Beach is just average. It's not particularly impressive. The water isn't very clean, although the river can be at times. However, during low tide, you can find some small shallow pools to relax in, and the water on the beach is mostly warm. The water in the river is also a pleasant temperature, not too cold or too warm. Finding parking can be a bit of a hassle on weekends, but this beach is mostly quiet during the week. There used to be kayak facilities available, but not anymore. I've kayaked up the river, and it's really beautiful there. Like I mentioned before, this beach is just okay. Enjoy.
It was really cool, I had a great time kayaking and there was plenty of breeze for flying kites...
The beach had lovely salt ponds that formed when the tide was low. The water was pleasant, quite warm, and not overly salty due to the mixture with the nearby river water, which prevented any discomfort to my eyes. Once you entered the water, the clarity was satisfactory. However, the parking situation was quite disappointing. I'm uncertain if there were any changing rooms, but it seemed like there were some facilities available in the building nearby. Although, they didn't seem very appealing. Fortunately, there were lifeguards present, and many families, mostly with young children, showed up.
